Early Career Phase

     Credit Analysts after working for about 2-4  Years in a different departments within Finance Sector of the firm usually get promoted to a designation of Senior Credit Analyst. The responsibilities remain the same with added tasks pertaining to mentoring new joiners. The salary hike expected can be around 20-25% for this profile.

      After about 1-2 years of  further Job experience as a Senior Credit Analyst, a candidate dawns the role of Assistant Credit Manager or Senior Credit Manager.

     They may get upgraded to Investments Manager (if they join the Investments team) or Audit Manager if they are a part of audit department previously.

Mid Career Phase

        After about 3-4 years of further experience depending on the competency, depth of knowledge in Economics and Finance, and adaptability skills, they get promoted to Senior Manager – Finance Department.

      They in charge of coming up with realistic financial goals that the company (or department) should aim for and also oversee the execution of those goals. Salary hike expected for this profile can be 20-30% on an average.

Late Career Phase

      After about 4-6 Years of further experience, Senior Finance Managers dawn the hat of VP or Director Of Finance/Investments.

     Their day to day tasks include supervising accounting staff, overseeing internal controls, setting financial targets, implementing fund-raising strategies, engaging with investors, developing financial strategy, conducting feasibility studies, monitoring expenditure, overseeing annual insurance, etc. upgrades undertaken by the company. 

     Salary Hike expected for this profile can be 20-30% Along with options for profit sharing, ESOPs, etc.

     And finally after further 5-7 Years of experience, Director of Finance finally get promoted to CFO (Chief Finance Officer) or CIO (Chief Investment Officer). Salary Hike expected can be between 30-50% which includes profit sharing, ESOPs, Allowances, etc.
